Ingredients
2 large ripe mangoes (or 2 cups frozen mango chunks, thawed)
1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
1–2 tablespoons water or juice (if needed for blending)
Instructions
1. Wash, peel, and chop the mangoes, removing the pit.
2. If using frozen mango, thaw completely before blending.
3. Add mango pieces to a blender or food processor.
4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
5. Add water or juice if needed to reach desired consistency.
6. Taste and adjust with honey or lime juice if desired.
7. (Optional) Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
8. Transfer to an airtight container and store properly.
Notes
Use very ripe mangoes for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
Straining is recommended for desserts like coulis or cheesecake topping.
Store in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
Freeze in ice cube trays for up to 3 months.
