Rice Krispie Base
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Turkey Decorations
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted
- 12 chocolate wafers or Hershey Kisses
- Candy corn (feathers)
- Candy eyes
- Orange M&Ms (beaks)
- Optional: red candy melts or red candy (waddles)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Press mixture lightly into a buttered 13×9-inch pan. Let set for 30 minutes.
- Cut circles using a 2.5-inch cookie cutter.
- Decorate: Attach candy corn with melted chocolate, add chocolate face, candy eyes, orange M&M beak, and optional red waddle.
- Arrange on a platter and serve.
Notes
- Do not press the cereal mixture too firmly or treats will be hard.
- Use Cocoa Krispies for darker turkey bodies.
- Indian corn makes colorful feathers.
- Eat the scraps immediately—chef’s treat!
