- 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

- Optional: red chili flakes for heat
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add sliced garlic and sauté gently until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add cooked pasta and ¼–½ cup reserved pasta water, tossing to coat.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley until sauce becomes silky.
- Season with salt and optional chili flakes to taste.
- Serve warm with extra parmesan on top.
Notes
Do not brown the garlic, as it can turn bitter. Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture. Add more pasta water as needed to maintain a silky sauce.
