Description
Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy is an easy slow cooker comfort meal made with tender shredded chicken and rich, creamy gravy. Perfect served over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or even waffles for a cozy, family-friendly dinner.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups water or chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt, cream cheese, or heavy cream)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together gravy mix packets, cream of chicken soup, and water or broth until smooth.
- Place chicken into the crock pot and pour gravy mixture over the top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Shred chicken using two forks and stir it into the gravy.
- Mix in sour cream until fully combined and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, biscuits, or waffles.
Notes
Add mushrooms, bacon, or frozen vegetables for variation. For thicker gravy, stir in a cornstarch slurry near the end of cooking. Leftovers keep well and reheat with a splash of broth.
